EARLY LEARNERS FIRST NATIONS DISCOVERY TOUR
The First Nations Early Learners tour is a great introduction to the native people of the Northwest Coast. Geared for young learners, this tour uses stories, gallery exploration and our teaching collection to introduce Northwest Coast art and traditions to students. In the Burke’s Pacific Voices exhibit, students will hear a story, and then search the exhibit for objects found in the story. They will be able to touch real baskets, masks, and button blankets. Students will then make a Northwest Coast themed mask to take home with them.

    Tour length:  1 hour
Times:  M–F 9 am, 12:45 pm, or other times on a space-available basis.
