Range in Washington: East of Cascades.
Habitat: Rocky areas.
Diet: Insectivore.
Identification: Tan to golden brown above, buff to nearly white below; black ears and mask. Total length: 7-8 cm; tail: 3-4 cm; mass: 6-9 g.
