RED GUARD POSTERS: In 1967, student Red Guards and revolutionary worker rebels were mobilized to remove officials whom Mao
considered obstacles to the continuing revolution. Workers, students, and soldiers, armed with Mao's Red Book, fight to overthrow officials who are "taking the Capitalist Road."
"Unite and Arise" "Revolutionary factions of the proletariat, unite and arise. Struggle against the power of the black Tianjin Communist Party Committee." Proclaimed by the United Revolutionary Rebel Committee of Artists and Writers, 1967.
