Located at the state's leading research university for over 100 years, the Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture provides a vital link between the scientific community and the public. Climate change is one of the most critical issues of our time, and University of Washington scientists are making significant contributions to the field. The Burke Museum is committed to provide a place for public engagement on this vital issue. In the coming months, the Burke Museum will offer exhibits, educational programs, and environmental forums designed to engage audiences in an ongoing discussion about climate change and global warming solutions.

These activities support the museum's mission to increase understanding of the world and our place in it by maintaining collections of natural and cultural heritage, sharing the research that makes them meaningful, and providing a community gathering place that nurtures life-long learning.
