To my Dead, To your Dead, to our Dead:
Day of the Dead is a popular Mexican tradition where we remember and honor our dead.
It is a communion where the spiritual comes close to the worldly. It is the celebration of life through death, helping us to remember that nothing is eternal and that we are simply passing through this earth.
It is the expression of a people in which culture and history is seen from its deepest point, where indigenous and Spanish roots intertwine to form this blend of traditions that we call Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead).
This celebration has as a result the manifestation of sensitivity of a people who express through their art, a deep sentiment of respect towards death and life, creating in their surroundings artistic proposals in all forms.
