Introduction
Welcome to UW/Boeing website. The UW would like to invite Boeing employees-especially
those who already have a first college degree - to consider the rich array of educational opportunities available at the UW.
There are programs on-site and on-line. There are programs that take two days and programs that take two years.
Some lead to a certificate, and others to a degree.
We will do everything we can to open the doors of the UW in a timely fashion to our
neighbors who may be laid off or considering re-tooling for future careers.
See also the Washington State
Security Department Boeing Website for
more resources for dislocated Boeing workers.
Funding
Discussions are underway at Boeing,
the Governor’s Office, the Legislature, and in the federal government to provide educational benefits to workers adversely
affected by economic stress. No decisions have yet been made. When they are, we will post this information here.

They are arranged by area of study and by whether they lead to a degree or a certificate.
Degree work typically takes longer to complete, and offers an array of career options.
Admission is usually competitive.
