Composition, natural science, social science; 15 credits
of humanities.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program at the University
of Washington, Bothell, is designed specifically for professionals
in technology-oriented businesses. Our curriculum offers current
and future managers the knowledge and skills they need to manage
successfully in this era of rapid growth and change. Developed
in collaboration with representatives from leading regional
businesses operating in the software, telecommunications, biotechnology,
and high tech manufacturing sectors, this 74-credit program
can be completed in two or three years of evening study and
offers mid-career professionals the business, analytical, team,
and communication skills they need to lead their organizations
to new levels of success. We are confident that you will find
the program both challenging and rewarding. The MBA Program
provides advanced training in the critical management functions,
such as marketing, finance, accounting, e-commerce, leadership,

Computing and Software Systems: Bachelor of Science

The Bachelor of Science in Computing and Software Systems (BSCSS)
is designed for students who have completed at least two years of
college, including specific prerequisites. The focus of CSS courses
offers a broad range of topics from the theory of computer science
the application of both leading edge and mature technologies. The
BSCSS degree program offers a multidisciplinary approach that will
enable students to develop a wide range of competencies needed for
success in the dynamic and varied field of software applications.
These include analysis and problem solving techniques; communication
and business management skills; in-depth understanding of the software
design and development process; and a solid technical foundation to
allow students to continue to learn new and complex techniques.

Policy Studies: Master of Arts in Policy Studies (MAPS)**

The Master of Arts in Policy Studies at the University of Washington, Bothell
offers an innovative, integrated approach to the study of contemporary policy
issues in local and global contexts and prepares its students for policy-related
analyst and leadership careers in public, private and non-profit organizations.
It is constructed on the belief that students attain their highest levels
of understanding and proficiency when combining practice with theory and
connecting classroom and real life environments. MAPS faculty and curriculum
emphasize the integration of skills, abilities and fields of knowledge that
