"After Hurricane Katrina: RE-Construction or NEW-Construction for Health and Human Services?"

Barbara Major, co-chair of the Bring New Orleans Back Commission and Director of the St. Thomas Health Care Clinic in New Orleans, will share with us her thoughts and experiences as a New Orleans area health care service provider, community organizer, and member of the commission. Barbara's perspective links the local needs of New Orleanians to the larger social issues that affect not only people in the Gulf South, but the people of Seattle too.

Reception immediately following the lecture in the Walker Ames Room of Kane Hall.

This talk is free, but advanced registration is required for this event. Use the link above the register.
