Sponsored by the six UW Health Sciences School - Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Public Health and Community Medicine, and Social Work - as well as the UW Medical Center and Harborview Medical Center, this event will feature pathology and high-tech surgical and interventional simulation demonstrations, exhibits and educational opportunities designed for children and adults of all ages.

Here's a few of the highlights:

UW Medicine Institute for Surgical and Interventional Simulation (ISIS) - See how simulation is used to help train doctors and to deal with medical emergencies.

Anatomic Pathology - Take a scientific look at a variety of organs and the impact that extreme behaviors such as smoking, drinking, steroids and drug abuse have on the human body.

Biological Structure - Hold a human brain, explore its characteristics and marvel at its mystery!

School of Nursing "Germ Warfare" - Come take a look at the germs hiding in every crevice of the human hand.

Locations include the Genome Science wing of the Foege Building and the I-Court Rotunda in the Health Sciences Building.
