Faculty, staff, and students will host various informational and activity events, including a Mineral Exhibit from the departmental collections, hands-on demonstrations, resources, information, and activities for K-12 students and teachers (lobby and NASA Space Grant Consortium Educator Resource Center), solar viewing (courtyard - weather permitting), and open labs: Petrology (cooking up rocks in an artificial volcano), Geographical Information Systems (why GIS is much more than maps), Seismology (see what's shaking and why), and Space Physics Advance Propulsion (fun experiments).
