The 3rd Annual Samuel E. Kelly Lecture, "From Dis-Placement to Dis-Ease: Embodiment and Expression of Historical Trauma among Indigenous Women," will be presented by Karina L. Walters, PhD, William P. and Ruth Gerberding Endowed Professor, School of Social Work, and director of the new Indigenous Wellness Research Institute. A reception follows across the street in the ECC. The lectureship is named in honor of the university's first vice president for the Office of Minority Affairs.
