This is an active open house targeting children from ages 4 - 10 and their parents. Look for displays of moon rocks from the Apollo landings, or samples of a permanent collection of meteorites.

Kid friendly events include continuous 25-minute planetarium shows (seating capacity is 50 at a time), a booth where you can make your own comets (edible in this case), an ask-the-astronomer table, and various talks by faculty of the Astronomy Department. Look through sun-viewing telescopes to look for sunspots.

Events will take place on the main floor of the Physics-Astronomy Bldg.
