Wondering how best to store your old photos or scrapbooks? Or why your old photo negatives smell like vinegar? Is your book suffering from "red rot" or "foxing"? Stephanie Lamson, UW Assistant Preservation Librarian, will provide tips on how to preserve your old photographs, letters, recordings, and books. She will also give an overview of common preservation problems and preservation techniques used by the University of Washington Libraries to care for its collections.
