Washington Warm Up
Volunteer Job Description
Program Description
Washington Warm Ups are the alumni association's popular pre-game parties before all Husky football away games. The events include performances by the Husky Marching Band and Cheer Squad, and give fans a chance to rally round the Huskies on the road!
Volunteer Benefits
Volunteers enjoy the chance to socialize with athletic-minded Husky friends, and are granted free admission to the event.
Duties and Responsibilities
Time Commitment
Warm Ups usually start 3 hours before kick-off. Volunteers are assigned to a shift that typically lasts 1.5 hours or so. The work schedule is arranged so that volunteers will be able to get to the stadium in time for kick-off. Note: normally, game tickets are NOT available through the alumni association. Volunteers who will be attending the game will need to make their own arrangements for game tickets.
Dates and Locations
Warm Ups occur at away football games during the Husky football season, September through November of each year. The alumni association does not provide transportation to or from the game location.
