Last month, we noted that the Burke Museum is presenting its first comprehensive exhibit of contemporary Northwest Coast Native art from its own collections, In the Spirit of the Ancestors, through Sept. 3. We said that the Burke's collection of Northwest Indian artifacts is the fifth largest in the U.S and asked about how many Northwest Indian artifacts it holds.
1. 10,000
2. 20,000
3. 30,000
4. 40,000
5. 50,000
The correct answer is #1. It holds about 10,000 Northwest Indian artifacts.
