More Than 5,000 Celebrate by Coming Together for Washington

On Oct. 15, the University of Washington hosted Come Together Washington, a celebration of community and University achievements that also marked the public launch of Campaign UW: Creating Futures, the UW's eight-year, $2 billion fund-raising effort. Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates spoke to more than 5,000 in a packed Hec Edmundson Pavilion. For highlights, speeches and a photo gallery, please see the UW Foundation's event recap.
