Our mission is to delight and educate alumni and friends through quality, worldwide travel opportunities. Our program is one of the most enriching avenues for alumni and friends to stay connected to the UW and to each other.

Since 1975, UW Alumni Tours has taken thousands of UW alumni and friends to fascinating destinations all around the world. Enjoy Unparalleled Customer Service: We're here to serve you. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional service. We want to make your travel experience top-notch from the time you first contact us to your arrival home from your trip. We've been on many of the tours ourselves and can give you firsthand knowledge of what to expect and how to prepare for the tour.

Our travelers are UW graduates, friends of the University and friends and family of UW alumni. The age range is pretty wide, with the majority of travelers being recently retired. Our travelers are educated, interesting and fun - we frequently hear from our travelers how much they enjoy traveling with their UW companions!

Stress-Free Travel: The planning has all been done for you. Our tour operators have already found the best places to stay, dine and sightsee. Experienced tour guides and guest experts share their knowledge about the places you'll visit, and often you'll be treated to private entrances to sights, and other special activities you couldn't arrange on your own. You get to sit back, relax and enjoy the destination-after all, you're on vacation!

Expand Your Mind: We believe that travel opens your mind to new ways of looking at the world. It sparks curiosity and interest in different peoples and cultures. The history and culture of each destination comes alive through local guides and lecturers.

Tour Orientations: We often hold a pre-tour meeting that allows you to meet fellow travelers and to go over final tour details with our staff.

UWAA Hosts: Many of our tours are escorted by UW hosts. Our hosts are there to assist you throughout the trip and to help make sure your alumni travel experience is fabulous and memorable. It's our personal touch.

Assisted Hearing Devices: We are continually seeking ways to enhance our tours. Recently, we invested in portable assisted hearing devices. These small devices enable you to hear the tour guide up to 30 feet away. No more crowding around the tour guide. We plan to make these available on many future tours.

Tour Group Reunions: Our travelers often get together after a tour to exchange photos and reconnect with each other. A tour group from the early 90's has met once a year since they all traveled to Africa!
