Message from the Director
As I'm writing this, I realize that it's already time to be thinking about holiday plans and wrapping up the end of the year. It's also the perfect time to make your final travel plans for 2005. We've recently added six new alumni tours - one of which might be just right for you! One trip that I'm very excited about is our Norwegian coastal cruise that will be hosted by popular UW Professor Terje Leiren. Enjoy beautiful fjords, the thrilling Flaam Railway, the cities of Oslo and Helsinki, lectures by Professor Leiren and more on this fabulous journey.

I'm thrilled to introduce Gretchen Boller as the newest addition to our UW Alumni Tours staff. Gretchen comes to us with lots of experience in the travel industry and we're excited to have her join the team.

UW Alumni & Friends Travel to Russia
We recently took over 70 UW alumni and friends to Russia on two-week cruises on the Neva, Svir and Volga Rivers. Many told us that this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. They enjoyed the opportunity to visit Russia's well known bustling cities of St. Petersburg and Moscow, but they also witnessed all the amazing countryside inbetween.
