Celebrate the newest 509 Huskies!

The entire Eastern Washington Husky community is invited to join incoming first-year UW students as well as new faculty members, local alumni and more at a hosted reception. You’ll meet Dr. Ed Taylor, vice provost and dean of Undergraduate Academic Affairs, and learn the latest from campus.!


D.C. Summer Bash

Saturday, June 22 | 12:30–3:30 p.m. | Red Bear Brewing Company

Co-owned and operated by UW alum Cameron Raspet, ’15, Red Bear Brewing Co. is D.C.’s newest entry in the bustling brewery scene.

Huskies near D.C. are invited to grab some grub, relax and reconnect as we raise a glass to purple pride. You’ll hear from special guest and Husky Football great Greg Lewis, ’91. Red Bear Brewing is all-ages, so bring the whole family to this not-to-miss event!

Join in this treasured Husky tradition with fellow alumni. Bring your swimsuits and enjoy the pool — the whole family is welcome!


46th Annual New York Salmon BBQ

UW Night with the Seattle Storm

The UW campus is now home to the Seattle Storm! Cheer on the Storm as they take on the Las Vegas Aces at this family-friendly evening of basketball action. Stick around after the game for a Q&A with Husky women’s basketball greats Kelsey Plum, ’17, and Sami Whitcomb, ’10.

UW Night at the Mariners

Saturday, July 20 | 6:10 p.m. | T-Mobile ParkBaseball field with baseball and Seattle Mariners logo

Enjoy a night at the ballpark and support UW students — It’s UW Night with the Mariners! With discounted tickets, this is a perfect chance to gather with your fellow Huskies and cheer on the home team as they take on the Los Angeles Angels. Buy your tickets through us and you’ll get a free commemorative baseball cap.

“Country Music” Preview Screening

Monday, July 22, 7:30 p.m. | Meany Hall, UW Campus

Country quartetThe UWAA and KCTS 9 are teaming up to bring legendary filmmaker Ken Burns to campus for a preview screening of his new documentary, Country Music. Be among the first to see the film, then enjoy a moderated discussion with Burns, Emmy-award winning producer Julie Dunfey and Seattle roots bandleader Billy Joe Huels, followed by live music from Billy Joe and the Dusty 45s.

Tickets go on sale June 11, but members can get tickets right now!


UW Day with the Reign FC

Paint the Park Purple

Bark in the Park

Calling all Dawgs: Cheer the Spokane Indians alongside your fellow Huskies — the whole family is welcome! Sit with your pack in the Pepsi Porch for a summer evening of baseball and purple pride. Hosted Hall of Fame buffet includes hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, potato salad and chips, soft drinks and ice cream sandwiches.
