Changing Lives, Enriching Communities: UW Tacoma's Social Work Program Celebrates 10 Years

The Social Work program at UW Tacoma marks a decade of serving our region. At this special reception and lecture, we will honor, celebrate and reflect upon our first 10 years—and engage staff, faculty, community partners, alumni and current students in envisioning the future of social work in the South Sound.

The lecture by Barbara Levy Simon will include:

  • The concept of stewarding social justice
  • The past as prologue: looking towards the next decade in Tacoma
