Members keep current with campus and alumni news through four complimentary issues of the award-winning University of Washington alumni magazine, Columns. The Alumnotes section is exclusively reserved for news and profiles of UWAA members.
Save 20% on Alumni Events
Members receive a 20% discount (in most cases) on admission to any UWAA-sponsored
event including lectures, football rallies, reunions, career workshops, and numerous other alumni events and gatherings across the country.
Dual Membership in Alumni Clubs and Chapters
When you become a member of the UWAA, you're automatically recognized as a member of your associated school, college, department, regional or special interest group. Alumni clubs and chapters provide members with a variety of benefits including: opportunities for professional networking, special events, alumni publications, social activities and more. Some clubs may have additional annual dues.
HuskyConnect
Members get free access to this Husky-only online networking community. Find lost friends and classmates, get career advice, build a network of friends and connections with common interests and a Husky background.
Free Find-a-Friend Services
The alumni association helps members find their "lost" UW friends through letter forwarding. Simply enclose a letter in an envelope marked with the name and grad year of a UW friend, and mail the letter to the alumni association membership department to be forwarded.
Support for Student Scholarships
The UWAA offers Legacy Scholarships to children and grandchildren of UW graduates who are alumni association members. Download the Legacy Scholarship application information and form from the scholarship page. The UWAA also supports student scholarships by contributing proceeds from alumni events, merchandise sales and other programs to the UWAA general scholarship fund.
Volunteer Opportunities
There are many opportunities to get involved with your alumni association, including serving on a committee, becoming a Career Connections volunteer, mentoring a UW student or volunteering at an event.

One of the core offerings of Husky Career Connections is a searchable worldwide network of more than 5,000 alumni volunteers (called Husky Career contacts) offering networking referrals and information about their field and geographical area. UWAA Career Services partners with several career services providers, including the UW Career Center, to offer a variety of career-related workshops and seminars. Members receive a discount.

Free UW Libraries Card

Members are eligible for a free UW Libraries Card which allows check out privileges of unrestricted library materials. To obtain your UW Libraries card, present your current UWAA membership card at the Suzzallo cashier's desk before 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, or at the circulation desk evenings and weekends. Cards may also be obtained at the UW Bothell and UW Tacoma libraries. The UWAA member benefit does not include remote access to restricted online databases.
