Huskies in High Places - Cammie Croft
Cammie Croft was named Deputy New Media Director at the White House. She comes to the White House from the Obama-Biden Transition Project, where she specialized in online communications.
Before that, she was New Media Rapid Response Manager for the Obama for America campaign, overseeing efforts to integrate new media and communications, including managing Web sites such as FighttheSmears.com and UndertheRadar.com. Before that, she built the tracking and media monitoring program at Progressive Accountability, a rapid-response communications advocacy campaign that provided video of Republican Presidential candidates for the public.
She also worked as the Rapid Response Mobilization Director for Americans Against Escalation in Iraq, where she led their new media efforts, working with MoveOn.org’s online tools to mobilize Americans opposed to the war.
She holds a B.A. in political science and communication from the UW.
