  Come meet the ladies of UWAB and learn more about what we do or just to catch up with old friends. Join us for wine, snacks and a chat as we introduce ourselves, the new board structure, and our goals and upcoming projects. The UWAB’s legacy is an important one - one that has touched the lives of many students. We want you to come celebrate that legacy with us! March 6, 2012 at the Washington Commons.

  5th Annual Dawg Days in the Desert Coffee and Conversation

  Enjoy the sun and warm weather of Palm Desert, California with fellow huskies. There’s a golf classic for the guys, and coffee and conversation for the gals! Come listen to a renowned speaker Nate Miles '82, shop great boutiques, and support student scholarships at this annual fundraiser. Monday, March 12, 2012
• Mother's Day Brunch

  Carrie Cowgill Thompson was the first scholarship recipient at the University of Washington, and her gratitude at the $100 gift that enabled her to complete her college education was the spark that started the UWAB. Celebrate Carrie and the UWAB’s legacy with us over brunch. Catch up with current and past board members, bid on great auction items, and help us change the lives of even more deserving students! May 2012

  Rhododendron Tea

  Come join us for tea and snacks at our annual tradition Rhododendron Tea (“Rhody Tea”) as we welcome new President Young at his residence, Hill Crest! We will announce the UWAB scholarship recipients for the 2012-2013 academic year, hear a bit from our past recipients, and introduce the recipients of these UWAA scholarships – the Galvagno Scholarship and the Homecoming Court scholarships. This is a not-to-miss event and is an annual inspiration to board members and students alike. Late May/early June 2012.
