The value of alumni advocacy: a conversation with President Ana Mari Cauce

Join UW Impact, the UWAA’s legislative advocacy program, for a conversation on alumni advocacy with UW President Ana Mari Cauce and a panel discussion with state legislators Rep. Tina Orwall, ’88, ’91, and Sen. Joe Fain, ’03, led by Colleen Fukui-Sketchley, ‘94.

As an activist for social change, President Cauce will share her perspective on the importance of civic engagement and the big issues facing higher education. Then, you’ll hear from two Husky legislators who will share their insight on how we can work together in Olympia to strengthen Washington’s higher education system.
