Using big data to improve health at the local level

Dr. Cristian BaezaThrough leading-edge science, big data and collaboration with experts worldwide, the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) provides a comprehensive, detailed picture of the world’s pressing health problems.

Join fellow California Huskies to hear from Dr. Cristian C. Baeza, director of Health System Solutions and professor of global health for IHME. Baeza will discuss the importance of IHME mapping of Burden of Disease for Global Health Aid and his extensive work advising more than 30 governments toward evidence-based health policy decision-making.
