Dr. Santosh Devasia is a mechanical engineering professor, the Boeing Advanced Research Center’s associate director, the Precision Controls Laboratory’s director and the College of Engineering’s Associate Dean of Research and Faculty Affairs. Dr. Devasia’s talk is entitled Inverse Human Models for “How to Train Your Robot” and will delve into the compelling challenge of teaching robots to infer human intentions from actions. Come learn about how demonstration rather code could become the future of robotics programming and hear more about Dr. Devasia’s fascinating career.
