The DC Dawgs Alumni Chapter strives to bring University of Washington alumni and friends together to learn, socialize and network in the Washington, DC area.
Annual Salmon BBQ
Salmon BBQs are an annual tradition for DC-area Huskies.
For more than 15 years, DC-area Huskies have gathered to feast on salmon flown in from Seattle and enjoy an afternoon of family fun. Most recently, Joseph, ’64, and Kathy, ’63, Ryan have hosted this event in their home. Attendees are invited to connect with fellow Huskies and hear from special guests from the UW.

Day hikes—such as this one at Billy Goat Trail, MD—are one of the many activities organized by the DC Dawgs alumni chapter.
Happy hours, career networking events, cultural outings, day hikes and football viewing parties are all part of the regular activities offered by the DC Dawgs alumni chapter.
