Vevette Cooperstein
Purple Passion

No one loves the Huskies more than Vevette Cooperstein. The 95-year-old retired Seattleite has held Huskies' season tickets for 25 years, coming to Husky Stadium by bus and on foot (she doesn't drive anymore), rain, snow or shine. She can't wait for the UW under new coach Steve Sarkisian to open the season Sept. 5 against LSU. Vevette was photographed in Husky Stadium on July 3, 2009 by Anil Kapahi.
