We Have Liftoff

Back when he was a UW student, Gregory Johnson used to fly seaplanes for spending money. Now Johnson, '77, has a better paying gig—piloting the Space Shuttle Atlantis on its final trip to the Hubble Telescope. Scheduled for an Oct. 8 launch, the mission will extend the observatory's capabilities through 2013.
