Globetrotting and Tailgating: Alumnae Board Has Fun Raising Funds |

The UW Alumnae Board is putting the fun back in fundraising this fall, with a pair of events designed to get Huskies psyched about supporting student scholarships. Travel and adventure will be the theme of the board’s fourth annual auction on Oct. 6. Every item on the block will have something to do with exotic destinations, romantic getaways or unique experiences. Then, on Oct. 27, it’s the third annual UWAB Tailgate Scholarship Drive. Beginning three hours prior to the kickoff of the Homecoming football game, Alumnae Board volunteers will be passing the hat in the traditional tailgating areas outside Husky Stadium.
