Giving Peace a Chance: UW Again Is Top University for Peace Corps Volunteers Print
For the second year in a row, the University of Washington has contributed more volunteers to the Peace Corps than any other college or university in the nation. The UW is also the top-ranked university for sending graduate students to the organization. Since 1961, the University has sent 2,504 volunteers into the Peace Corps. Currently there are more than 8,000 volunteers in the field, the highest total in 37 years.
