The Promise of Coach Pete

A bowl-game victory in December? Nice. A 9-win season, the first since 2001? Even better. But the biggest reason Husky nation is excited about the upcoming football season is the arrival of Chris Petersen as the new head coach. Petersen brings an eye-opening winning record (92-12) and snazzy offense to Seattle from Boise State, where he turned the Broncos from a curiosity playing on blue turf to a national power. Your first chance to see Coach Pete in purple is at the Husky Spring Game April 19 at Husky Stadium. Prepare to be dazzled.
