  •   April 2006 - Economics Alumni Lecture
    A special reception and lecture on the 2005 Nobel Prize in Economics on Game Theory.
  •   November 2005 - Economics Homecoming Lecture
    The UW Tacoma Economics Prof. Katie Baird spoke on "Going Deep: The Economics of College Sports" on Homecoming weekend.
  •   April 2005 - Understanding the 2004 Nobel Prize in Economics
    This lecture, presented by Assistant Professor Yu-Chin Chen, explored the work of the winners of the 2004 Nobel Prize. The research focused on dynamic macroeconomics, specifically business cycles and the time consistency of economic policy.
  •   January 2005 - Student/Alumni Networking
    This event offered a fantastic chance for Undergraduates to network with numerous Economics Alumni as well as provide the opportunity for Alumni to reconnect with each other.
  •   September 2004 - The Kyoto Protocol: Not a Panacea for Global Warming
    The UWEAO hosted a talk by Gardner Brown, Professor Emeritus, UW Dept. of Economics, on the economic aspects of global warming and the Kyoto Protocol.
