Special Interest Groups

Alumnae Board
This volunteer group has been raising money for student scholarships since 1946, with popular fundraisers such as the Alumnae Board cookbook and the Holiday Fair. The UWAB, which originally formed to help women attend the UW, now awards full-tuition scholarships to a variety of students each year.

Multicultural Alumni Partnership
MAP promotes diversity within UWAA and the University community and supports a multicultural group of students through scholarships each year. MAP hosts the popular Bridging the Gap scholarship breakfast at Homecoming and awards alumni who have made significant contributions in diversity.

The Purple & Gold Society
The Purple & Gold Society is a University of Washington Alumni Association club for alumni who graduated from the UW 50 years ago or more.
