Husky Summer Weekend '04 - Snohomish County

Just think of it: Huskies all over the country gathering on the same weekend to celebrate Husky Pride. Husky Summer Weekend '04 is a weekend filled with fun Husky activities in neighborhoods across the world.

All Snohomish County alumni and friends are invited to an AquaSox baseball game in Everett, Wash.

    Where: Everett Memorial Stadium, 38th and Broadway, Everett.
    Pre-game party at Pacific Power Batteries, 3729 Broadway, Everett.
    When: Saturday, Aug. 14, 7:05 p.m. game time. Pre-game party starts at 5 p.m.
    What: Join fellow Huskies from Snohomish County for a great evening of baseball. Come out and support our home team.
    Cost: $6.25 per person if purchased before July 31. $8.50 per person for tickets purchased after August 1, through game day. Children 2 and under can enter for free but must sit on someone's lap. Fees for advance ticket purchases can be sent to Peter Sontra at 725 Rucker, Everett, Wash., 98201. Checks should be made out to "Everett AquaSox."

What to expect:
Is there a better way to spend a summer evening than with family and Husky friends? Wear purple, come early for hot dogs, chips and pop, then watch the AquaSox take on the Eugene Emeralds -and get a free baseball glove! Remember, it's an evening game, so bring the sweaters so you can stay until the end. For Aquasox information, visit www.aquasox.com.

Directions:
NB I-5: Take the Broadway exit in Everett and continue north on Broadway; stadium is on the left a few blocks from the freeway exit. SB I-5: Take the 41st Street exit and follow signs to Broadway. You'll end up going north on Broadway where the stadium will be on your left.
