The Lecture:
David Miller, UW professor of architecture and founding partner with The Miller/Hull Partnership in Seattle, will share how sustainable design and technology are impacting the architecture profession and shaping curriculum at the University of Washington. Miller is the author of the forthcoming book Toward a New Regionalism; Sustainable Architecture in the Pacific Northwest.

The Location:
Carlton Winemakers Studio is an innovative "green" cooperative winemaking facility that promises to be an archetype for Oregon's wine industry, and one of the first of its kind in the nation. The studio is home to 10 different wineries: Andrew Rich, Boedecker Cellars, Bryce Vineyard, Domaine Meriwether, Dominio IV, Hamacher, Lazy River, Penner-Ash, Ribbon Ridge Vineyard, and Scott Paul Wines.
