Husky Summer Weekend '04 - Phoenix
Just think of it: Huskies all over the country gathering on the same weekend to celebrate Husky Pride. Husky Summer Weekend '04 is a weekend filled with fun Husky activities in neighborhoods across the world.
All Phoenix area alumni and friends are invited to meet and mingle in Mesa, Ariz.
Where: The Monastery in Mesa at Falcon Field
When: Saturday, Aug. 14, 5 p.m. start
What: Meet and mingle with other Arizona Huskies and Dawg Fans at a fun, relaxed indoor/outdoor venue featuring outdoor sports, pool tables, and live music after 8 p.m.
Cost: It's free! Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
What to expect:
Wear purple and gold and come for Dawg Fun. Grill your own BBQ, play outdoor summer sports, and stay for the live music after 8 p.m. Kids must be accompanied by a parent and are welcome until 8 p.m. when the venue turns adult-only.
Directions:
The Monastery in Mesa at Falcon Field, 4810 E. McKellips Rd., Mesa, 85215. From Phoenix, take U.S. 60 eastbound to the Greenfield exit. Go left (north) on Greenfield (approx. 5 miles), take a right on McKellips for two blocks. The Monastery is on the left.
