Dawgfest at the Beach
Part of Husky Summer Weekend '04
For Husky Summer Weekend 2004, come spend the day at the beach with area alumni and friends. Bring your beach chair, swimwear, and your Husky spirit for the annual Orange County UW Alumni Salmon Barbecue. This year our party will be held at Emerald Bay, Laguna Beach, thanks to UW grad, Michael Jeffers, '62, '64. Don't forget the traditional raffle and auction!

Price includes: great buffet by Jay's Catering of salmon, BBQ chicken, side dishes, blueberry cheesecake, wine, beer, and soft drinks, and the chance to swim and go home with fantastic Husky merchandise. You'll also hear from featured speaker Mike Lansford, former Husky placekicker who spent eight years with the Los Angeles Rams and remains the Rams' all-time leading scorer.

Location:
Emerald Bay is a private community open to members and their guests. Thanks to Michael Jeffers, '62, '64, the barbecue will take place at Swanson Park in Emerald Bay. Visit the Emerald Bay site for a map and further details about the location.
Directions
Going South: From MacArthur Blvd. and PCH in Corona del Mar, go south 5.5 miles on PCH toward Laguna Beach. Emerald Bay sign is on the right, entrance is on the left about 100 yards.
Going North: From Laguna Beach, Emerald Bay entrance is 1.5 miles on the right.
Once in Emerald Bay, stop at the main gate where attendant will provide instructions to Swanson Park. Look for the balloons.
Complimentary valet parking is provided.
