Orange County Huskies
Welcome
The Orange County Huskies serve more than 1,400 UW alumni. We often work together with the UWAA Los Angeles Chapter to organize events that take advantage of our location in one of the largest entertainment and business capitals in America! Although Orange is the name of the county, local alumni know purple and gold reigns supreme.
Contacts
The local Proud Husky volunteer is Ray "The Machine" Price, '74. He can be reached at rprice@trendoffset.com or 714-435-1732.

Meet Ray Price
As a UW athlete, Ray played sports for two UW teams: basketball and baseball. After graduation, Ray played basketball overseas then returned to the states to play in the minor leagues for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Returning to the UW in 1985, he coached under UW Basketball Coach Marv Harshman and coached local summer camps. Currently living in Fountain Valley, Ray, a supervisor at one of the largest printing companies on the West Coast, coaches a summer pro-league at Cal State Long Beach. In 2001, Ray was recognized by the UW as one of the greatest players from the first 100 years in Husky baseball. In 2000, Ray became Orange County Proud Husky and has kept alumni busy with many activities.
