Husky Summer Weekend '04 - New York
Just think of it: Just think of it: Huskies all over the world partying on the same weekend!
All New York Husky alumni and friends
are invited to sail around Governor's Island and the Statue of Liberty.
Where: The private trip leaves from South Street Seaport in Manhattan, Pier 16.
When: Sunday, Aug. 15, 4-6 p.m. Ship leaves at 4, so don't be late.
What: A private sailing excursion around Governor's Island and the Statue of Liberty on a 102-foot iron cargo schooner. The trip should last two hours.
Cost: $35 per person for the sailboat tour and refreshments. Food and wine included. Pay New York Chapter President Jessica Handy in advance. Please include your e-mail so she can send confirmation of space for you and your friends. Maximum capacity is 40, so don't let this ship sail without you!
What to expect:
What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon than on the water on a private trip with your favorite Huskies? Bring your friends, your sea legs and a light jacket. Children are welcome for the same fee.
Directions:
Visit www.southstreetseaport.com for transportation and parking instructions. The tour leaves from Pier 16 promptly at 4 p.m., so don't be late.
