Step ...Two...Three... FORE!
Join the band and its supporters on Sunday, Aug. 17 for a fun day of golf, food and friends – all in the name of Husky Band scholarships. This year's tournament is dedicated to Andrew Mandel, ’91, a beloved Husky band member who passed away in 2005 after a courageous battle with cancer. To honor his memory and devotion to the band, the Husky Marching Band Alumni Association has established a scholarship for current drum majors. Proceeds from the golf tournament will fund the Andrew Mandel Drum Major Scholarship and other Husky Band scholarships. What: Scramble Tournament When: Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008 Where: Washington National Golf Club Registration & Practice: 7-8 a.m. Tee: 8 a.m. Buffet: (following conclusion of play) about 1 p.m. Fee: $125 or $110 w/paid HMBAA dues Registration will include range balls, cart and lunch.
