The Los Angeles chapter, serving more than 4,000 UW alumni, is bursting with new energy. We have a new local contact and are looking for a strong steering committee to bring interesting activities to local Huskies.

- UW Off-Campus Orientation Program

- 2002 Football season: Football viewing parties at Domenico's Grill & Sports Bar in Pasadena.
- August 18, 2002: Orange County / L.A. Annual Salmon Barbecue at the Robert Mondavi Winery in Oakville, Calif.
- Lifelong learning opportunities such as a 2001 tour of the Getty Museum
- Mixing and networking gatherings
- Husky Express buses to UW football games at UCLA, USC, the Rose Bowl and the Holiday Bowl
- Rooting for the Mariners and the Sonics when they're in town

UWAA's Husky Career Network
Husky Career Network (formerly "Career Connections") is a searchable worldwide network of more than 5,000 UW alumni and friends offering networking assistance to their fellow Huskies. Network contacts reside in 49 states and 34 foreign countries. This service is available for free to all members of the UW Alumni Association and current UW students. Scholarships
UWAA Legacy Scholarship
This scholarship is available to undergraduate juniors and seniors, including transfer students, but not current degree holders, who are currently enrolled as full-time students. Students must have a parent or grandparent who holds a degree from the University of Washington and is a current member of the Alumni Association.
