Husky Summer Weekend '04 - Honolulu

Just think of it: Huskies all over the world partying on the same weekend!

All Honolulu Husky alumni and friends are invited to a barbecue/beach party.

Where: Beach between Hilton Hawaiian village and Hale Koa “Barefoot Bar” aka IIima Park. Look for the UWAA Banner.
When: Sunday, Aug. 15, 12-4 p.m.
What: Join fellow Honolulu Huskies for some fun in the sun at the Waikiki BBQ Beach Party.
Cost: $7 per person and free for kids 10 years and under. For registration and payment, please contact Mark Fukeda at UWAlumHI@hotmail.com if you plan to attend.

What to expect:
Come spend the day at the beach with alumni and friends. Bring your swimwear, your own drinks, and a small dessert to share (for approx. 6). Children are welcome. We'll provide hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, chips, condiments, and utensils.

Directions:
From Nimitiz Hwy (92), heading towards Diamond Head. Turn right on Kalia Road, pass HHV complex and turn left at second stop light. Park in the garage next to Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies. Walk through either HHV or Hale Koa to grassy area located between the two hotels. Look for the UW Alumni Banner. Parking is also available in the Hale Koa Hotel for a fee depending on length of stay (see map).
