Career Night 2007

(April 16 in Parrington Commons from 5:30 - 8:00 pm) will feature faculty-moderated panels of Evans School alumni in the policy and management specialization areas of Education/Social and Local/Regional, Environmental, International, and Public/Private Partnerships (private sector serving public sector agencies or NGO's).  Panelists will talk about how their Master of Public Administration degrees made a difference in their careers, lessons learned from their job search, and the challenge of their current jobs.  With time for networking and sitting in on panels, students will be able to attend 2 panels of their choosing throughout the night.  Confirmed organizations include: U.S. Agency for International Development, Snohomish County, Point B Consulting, WA Dept. of Fish & Wildlife, Global Partnerships, WA State Budget & Policy Center, Microsoft, City of Seattle Dept. of Planning and Development, Bridges to Understanding, Puget Sound Regional Council, PATH, and the Environmental Coalition of South Seattle.  The event is sponsored by the Evans School Career Services Office.
