Do you know where the money is? Can you understand the budget report? Do you sit in a Board meeting unable to understand the end-of-year annual reports?
More than ever in these economic times, everyone involved in the financial aspects of an agency or organization must have a clear understanding of its current fiscal status. Further, managers often need to be familiar with the financial condition of those agencies or organizations with which they partner. It’s necessary to understand the meaning of the numbers on the three basic financial statements produced by most organizations: the balance sheet, the income statement (statement of activities) and the statement of cash flows. Accrual accounting is not the same as counting cash inflows and outflows. Join us for a 2-day course to gain knowledge in these areas. Key objectives of this course include: understanding and using financial reports, facility in translating financial information into common terms and gaining skills for communication and presentation of financial information.
