Elaine Chang Internship for International Peace & Development
We are pleased to announce the recent establishment of the Elaine Chang Endowed Fellowship for International Peace and Development. Elaine served the Evans School for eleven years as Assistant Dean, as Program Director of the Hubert H. Humphrey Program, and as the Acting Director of the Marc Lindenberg Center. Friends and colleagues established this first staff endowed fellowship at the Evans School in honor of her many efforts to make the university a more hospitable place for people from all countries and all walks of life. This fellowship will support outstanding students working in internships focused on international development and peace issues. The first award will be made this summer.
An anonymous donor has offered to match contributions to the Elaine Chang Endowed Fellowship for International Peace and Development received between now and December 31, 2006, up to $5,000.
