    PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

Strategic Marketing In The Public Sector
    June 2-3
Though we may not be calling it marketing, most of us working in public sector agencies make decisions and manage programs and people on a daily basis that impact revenues, funding, customer satisfaction, constituent perceptions and public behavior. This two-day course will present a comprehensive overview of the major applications of marketing principles and techniques in the public sector, and the benefits of thinking and acting like a strategic marketer.

    Dependable Strengths Seminars
    June 16-18
This seminar is designed to assess strengths and talents, and to help you use this information to develop a powerful job search strategy.

    Managing Organizational Change
    June 13-15
In the public sector, no less than the private, the pressures of organizational change are ubiquitous. Effective public managers must not only respond to change but lead it. This course is designed to help public managers in local and state government or the nonprofit sector take a strategic approach to leading change in their own or closely affiliated agencies.

    Managing People to Improve Programs
    June 20-24
This course provides perspective on a manager's responsibility to staff and presents a realistic basis for establishing personnel policies and making decisions that advance program goals. Topics covered include hiring and firing, leadership, interpersonal communications, and motivation.

    Lifework Renewal Seminar
    Saturday, July 9
A mini-retreat that provides a map of the change process and a new life and work perspective.
