Meet Our New Assistant Director of Alumni Relations

In June, Christina Marx joined the Evans School team as Assistant Director of Development and Alumni Relations. Chris is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance communications and assist alumni in the development of their personal and professional, volunteer and philanthropic interests.

Chris replaces Jack Spirakes (MPA, 2002), who recently returned to San Diego to be closer to his family. For alumni interested in staying in touch with Jack, he can be reached via e-mail at spirakes@yahoo.com

Previously, Chris was the Alumni Relations Manager for the UW Business School. During that time she developed programs offering a variety of opportunities for alumni to stay connected. She worked with the Business School Alumni Relations Advisory Council and Class Agents to open communication channels by establishing an E-newsletter and weekly job leads as well as offering programs of interest to alumni. Prior to joining the Business School, Chris was with the American Arbitration Association (AAA), a leading provider of global dispute resolution services.
