UW Evans School - MPA Alumni News

Class of 2004 - Welcome New Grads!

Welcome to your alumni community! As an Evans School graduate, we hope you will take advantage of our alumni programs. Our goal is to provide you with opportunities to meet with community leaders and peers, keep on top of current trends and connect with other alumni.

We want you to stay involved! To that end, here's what we provide for new graduates:

  • Free Membership! - You are eligible to receive a complementary first-year membership in the University of Washington Alumni Association. If you have not already signed up, please visit our online registration for details.
  • Career Services - As an alum, we invite you to take advantage of the same career services you did as a student.... for free. Those services include access to JILeS, meeting with Andrea Boulanger for one-on-one appointments, access to the jobs listserv (which includes the weekly summaries) and an open invitation to events such as information sessions and workshops. For more information, contact Andrea at aboulang@u.washington.edu or by phone at (206) 616-1609.
  • Career Connections: Online Networking Database - Job seekers -- use Career Connections to assist in your job search. Already employed? Consider serving as a resource for future students and fellow alumni! Find out more or become a contact by visiting the Career Connections web site. Click on the "Career Connections" icon along the right hand side of the page. We hope you will join as a contact - it's an easy way for you to make a difference.
  • Lifetime E-Mail - Take your current UW e-mail address with you when you graduate! All alumni are eligible for free e-mail services from the University of Washington. For details and to set up your account, please visit the UW Alumni Association's website at www.UWalum.com. Please note: After graduation it takes several weeks before you are listed as an alum in the campus databases. Generally, you will be eligible to sign up by the start of the next quarter after your last class. In the meantime your student computing services should continue. If you do not sign up, your e-mail account will likely expire soon.

We encourage you to continue to stay involved!
