Washington, D.C. Alumni Salmon Barbecue
Part of Husky Summer Weekend '04

Join your fellow alumni and friends at the annual salmon barbecue. We've moved the date of this annual event so we can be part of the Husky Summer Weekend worldwide party! This year the picnic moves to Lake Accotink Park, where many activities are available. Miniature golf, pedal boats, a carousel, and sports courts are easily accessible for small fees.

Cost:$30 UWAA members; $36 non-members; $10 for children ages 5-10; free for children 4 and under

Location
Lake Accotink Park is a 493-acre park which includes a 55-acre lake with boating, fishing, hiking, miniature golf, a carousel, snack bar, tourboat rides, trails, picnic areas and playgrounds. Its address is 7500 Accotink Park Road, Springfield. Lake Accotink may be reached from I-95 by taking Old Keene Mill Rd. exit. Head west, then take a right on Hanover Ave. then a left on Highland Ave. Bear to the right on to Accotink Park Rd. The main entrance will be on the left.
